Solar Energy UK on Track with Libra and Goodwe
By Anne Lewis-Schneider
The Chinese company Good we are manufacturers of inverters that are required by Libra Energy Company for solar energy supply which is scheduled to begin on 8th October this year through Solar Energy UK. Libra Energy has just concluded a deal with Goodwe for the supply of inverters through their international sales channels, and comes after long months of research have been carried out to determine the best supplier. The research has included visits by purchasing teams as well as technical staff and also live testing of the inverters on its own range of solar PV solutions.
Libra has a distribution centre in the UK and a Dutch centre. They have made known that the first inverters will be available from both outlets either for customer collection or delivery the day following order placement. Libra has also started work on a web shop that will allow customers to order their inverters, pay online, and track progress of their deliveries.
General Manager of Libra UK Paul Bradbury has welcomed the inclusion of commercial applications on the internet saying that it will be a valuable tool and a step in the right direction for the future of company operations. He went on to assure customers that even though this new option will be available to them, Libra will still maintain a hands-on approach to customers and will remain committed to delivering the standard of service thus far developed, with the focus being on technical support and customer advice services. He went on to add that the new facility would be a boon for the customer who already knows what they want, and can order it directly.
Libra Energy will be exhibiting at Solar Energy UK and can be visited at stand A30 as well as Goodwe who will be exhibiting from stand B30 and that visitors would be welcomed to their exhibition and would be able to access information on how to go about getting their inverters and on how Libra Energy works and what it can offer to the energy world of Solar Energy UK. Solar energy is a low carbon solution to the energy field which seeks to reduce carbon emissions in accordance with guidelines laid out by the EU in their deadline for 2020, when it expects UK emissions to be reduced in accordance with its agreement to curb global warming.
