A Delegation Of MPís Will Be Visiting The UK To Study Model For Renewable Energy

A delegation of MPís will be visiting the UK in order to study their renewable energy model, they will also be discussing low carbon growth as well as climate change with the British counterparts.
The organization of he visit is being done by Climate Parliament who is an international network of various party parliamentarians who are in association with the British High Commission in India.
The Climate Parliament delegates are the following MPís
The visit begins tomorrow 13th May 2013, and will run for three days. The Parliamentarians will be meeting with renewable and climate change energy experts, various institutions, government bodies, ministers and legislators from the UK. Ė from a press release by Climate Parliament.
Key issues will be exchange of Ideas with regard to regional and international cooperation, and where legislative action will be needed.
MuradAli and Zunaid Ahmed Palak from Bangladesh, and from Sri Lanka delegates, VijithaHerath, Bernadine Rose Senanayake will also form part of the South Asia delegation of the Climate Parliament.
RajyaSabha MP Vandana Chavan has told the PTI because the UK has brought down their usage of fossil fuels that cause carbon emissions, that this visit to the UK is an incredible opportunity for learning about the different steps the UK has take towards green growth.
The release said that it is expected that the visit will help in the understanding of legislative options as well as the challenges that are faced with regard to renewable energy, energy security, climate change and low carbon growth.
Rajeev Shukla and MilindDeora, who are union members, are patrons and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, a former Union Minister is the chairman of Climate Parliament, Steering Committee in India.
